Hello from the Wentworth Recreation Centre!
We have several events coming up over the next few months including:
NEW Mega Bingo – On Sunday, November 1, the Wentworth Recreation Centre is hosting a Mega Bingo. Doors Open at 1 PM and Early Bird Play Starts at 2 PM. Cost is $50.00 for 2 -6 up Books (all 15 games Included). There will be $3300.00 in Cash Prizes. And sold Extra: Early Bird Cards 4-Up, $5.00 for10 Games. There will be a Canteen On Site. Yard Sale – On Saturday, October 24, from 9 am to 2 pm, the Wentworth Recreation Centre is hosting a yard sale. Tables are $5. Canteen on site. Send a text to Jane at 902 401-1382 to book your table.
35th Annual Craft Fair – On Saturday, November 14 from 9 am until 2pm, the Wentworth Recreation Centre will be holding it’s 35th Annual Christmas Craft Fair. As ever, we will have a canteen offering delicious take-out food. To request a table, please send a text to Jane at 902 401-1382. Booking requires an e transfer to ntopping@hotmail.ca.
Our regular programs include:
Bingo – Other than Nov 1, Sunday’s at 2 pm. Note that doors open at 1 pm and play starts sharp at 2 pm. There are 8 regular games. With 40 attending, the payout will be $30.00 per game for the first 4 games and $40 for the last four games. If there are 45 attendees or over, all 8 games will pay out $40.00. Please note that we are looking for volunteers to help with set up and take down of the chairs and tables for Bingo each week. Mixed Pickleball –All levels of play. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday 10 am to 12 noon assuming there is enough interest.
Women’s Pickleball–All levels of play. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays 6 pm to 8 pm assuming enough interest. All are welcome but check with us at wentworth.rec.ctr@gmail.com if you are new to the group.
