In the next few days you may see a large influx of motorcycles of all shapes & sizes with many different colours of license plates in and around Nova Scotia and Municipality of Colchester.
There is an Atlantic Regional Rally of the Red Knights International Firefighters Motorcycle Club hosted by the Red Red Knights Motorcycle Club Nova Scotia Chapter 1. The event will be centered at the Hampton Inn – it’s been 2 years in the planning & next year it’s in Marystown, Newfoundland.
There are over 150 participants registered & many volunteers from the NS I Chapter. The International Club is made up of all Firefighters & spouses & friends of Firefighters.
It started in the small town of Boylston, Massachusetts in 1982.
There are 11 Founders of which one will be in attendance at the Rally. Over 40 years later there are over 10 000 members in 450 Chapters in 27 Countries including Canada, the US, Australia, New Zealand & many in Europe.
Some are coming early for the Rally & some are staying later to enjoy our beautiful province. So please wave if you see them going by
