If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, the Nova Scotia Fibre Arts Festival is in full swing! 
The Town of Amherst has been proud to support this festival for many years. Each year, it brings artists and visitors to our community, fills our local spaces with creativity, and gives people a chance to experience all that Amherst has to offer.
From quilting and rug hooking shows to hands-on workshops, local vendors and a special house tour, there’s still lots to see and do around town!
Today, the Cumberland Quilters Guild were busy setting up for their Annual Quilt Show, featuring beautiful handmade quilts, two raffle quilts and a selection of charity quilts!
