The Municipality of the County of Cumberland is sharing a notice of a public hearing on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 5 pm at the Upper Nappan Service Centre (council chambers) for a by-law to amend the Land-Use By-Law 26-11, Temporary Pause on Accepting AI Data Centre Permit Applications.
The purpose is to implement a temporary pause in which no development permit applications will be received for AI Data Centers while the municipality completes its comprehensive review of the Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use By-law.
