Can we Change Our Shopping Patterns from Amazon? From Karen Richardson

So. This afternoon I decided to do something about what’s going on so I logged into my Amazon account. I found $215 worth of monthly subscription products that I switched from American companies to Canadian companies. Don’t judge me, I live near a town where I try very hard to shop locally but I usually end up standing in an aisle somewhere and ordering from Amazon what I can’t get in that store. Then I Googled how many Canadians have Amazon Prime accounts and it told me over 10 million which kind of blew me away. If every one of those accounts switched one $10 purchase a month from a US company to a Canadian one, that is $100 million a month to Canadian manufacturers and sellers. And it won’t cost you a cent, folks, you’re already spending it. Come on Canada, I challenge you, nay, I dare you!
