Nova Scotia
- Tri-County Regional Centre for Education: Due to icy road conditions, all schools are closed. All offices and worksites will have a delayed opening of 10 a.m.
- Annapolis Valley Regional Centre for Education: All schools are opening two hours later than usual due to road conditions and bus drivers will use their discretion on roads.
- South Shore Regional Centre for Education: Due to current road conditions, Lunenburg County schools will have a two-hour delayed start and back road closure plans will be in place. Queens County schools will open at regular hours and have back road closure plans in place.
- Halifax Regional Centre for Education: All schools will be delayed in opening by two hours.
- Chignecto-Central Regional Centre for Education: All schools in Cumberland County, Pictou County, Colchester County and schools in the municipality of East Hants will be closed due to weather forecast and road conditions. Offices and work sites remain open.
- Strait Regional Centre for Education: Classes are cancelled at all schools due to weather and road conditions. In addition, all schools, buildings and worksites will delay opening until 11 a.m.
- Cape Breton-Victoria Regional Centre for Education: Classes are cancelled for all students. CBVRCE Regional Offices will open at 11 a.m.
- CSAP: Classes are cancelled for Argyle and Clare areas (EJD, ESM, ESDC, ESBP, EBV, EWP, EPO). The Metro grouping is delayed opening by two hours (EBJ, EBM, ECGH, ESMO, EMM, ESS, EBB, EGP). In the North grouping, classes are canceled for CSEA, EBP, EBBA, EAP, EAT.
- Mount Saint Vincent University will delay opening until 10 a.m.
- Cape Breton University: Campus will be closed for the morning. The status of afternoon classes will be announced by 10 a.m.
- NSCC: Some campuses are closed or delayed opening.
New Brunswick
- There are no school closures in New Brunswick.
Prince Edward Island
- Public Schools Branch: Classes in the Bluefield, Charlottetown, Morell, Montague and Souris families are on a one-hour delay with a further update by 8 a.m.
- French Language School Board: The following schools will start their classes with an hour delay: Saint-Augustin, François-Buote and L’École La-Belle-Cloche.
