Calling all families and youth! Join local naturalist John Brownlie for a walk through forested areas in search of fascinating fungi!

Meeting Location: Fundy Geological Museum (162 Two Islands Rd, Parrsboro)
Plan: We will meet at the museum parking lot and car-caravan together to the field site!What to Expect:
A fun scavenger hunt for different types of mushrooms
Free field guides and activity journals to help us learn how to identify local species
Learning about the vital role fungi play in our forest ecosystems
What to Bring & Wear:
Dress in layers—autumn weather can change quickly!
Wear sturdy footwear suitable for forest trails.
Note: This event focuses on observation and identification. Please leave all wild mushrooms in place so they can continue supporting the forest.
