The Veteran Banners Committee would like to notify the public that the municipality has increased the banner display limit from 140 to 169. Individuals interested in obtaining a banner for a veteran are invited to contact me Brenda Pyke on behalf of the committee . The deadline for this year is September 1st for the ‘Vet Banners’ program, and we encourage you to secure your banner for the upcoming season. To purchase a banner in honor of your veteran or loved one, please reach out to Brenda Pyke (Brenda.pyke@outlook.com) or phone 902-599-0676. The cost of the banner is $200, and it will be displayed for five weeks prior to being washed, dried, and stored. We require a 300 dpi photo, rank, war, tour information, and a memory tag with six words or less to initiate the process. We can’t wait to review your submissions, but please keep in mind that our deadline is September 1st, and late entries will not be accepted.
