Here are the Upcoming Events for the Wentworth Recreation Centre
Car Show and Shine and Lobster Draw
On Saturday, June 27, we are hosting a Car Show and Shine. It will take place from 10 am to 2 pm. Cars are welcome by donation. Admission for the general public is $2.00 and children under 12 are admitted for free. The canteen will be operating all day with menu items including breakfast sandwiches with bacon or sausage, hotdogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers and potato salad. (This event was previously scheduled for Saturday June 13, 2026 and was postponed due to rain.)
Our regular programs include:
Bingo – Sunday’s at 2 pm. There are 8 regular games. With 40 attending, the payout will be $30.00 per game for the first 4 games and $40 for the last four games, if there are 45 attendees or over, all 8 games will pay out $40.00.
Walk and Talk and Video Yoga –Walk and Talk is on Tuesdays and Thursdays 1 to 2 pm in the hall. In addition, on Thursday at 12:30, there is chair yoga via you tube.
Mixed Pickleball –All levels of play. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday 10 am to 12 noon.
Women’s Pickleball–All levels of play. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays 6 pm to 8 pm.
