January – March Events Wentworth Recreation Centre
Published on: December 10, 2025
Well, our pre-Christmas special events are over. Thank you to everyone who came out to the Christmas Craft Fair, the Sounds of Christmas concert, and the Mega Bingo.
On Thursday, January 1, 2026, we are hosting the first-ever Wentworth New Year’s Levee.  It will take place on January 1 from 2 pm to 5 pm. There will be live music featuring Kaden Mattinson, along with plenty of food and a cash bar. Eat, listen to music, meet people, and help us welcome in 2026!  There is no charge for this New Year’s Levee, but monetary or non-perishable food donations to the Ladybug Pantry are welcome. This is an all-ages event.

On Monday, December 15 and every Monday from 6:00 to 8:00
pm, join us for a variety of games.
Crib is the most popular so far, but we also have a table going with 45’s. Other possibilities include Sequence, LRC, Crokinole, Darts, Scrabble, and so on. It costs $5/Person and is open to all ages. Tea/Coffee and a snack are provided. A prize is awarded to the winner of the night. Come out, bring your neighbours and friends, and be prepared to meet others while having fun in the Wentworth community!
